About
Growing up in rural Oregon, I spent most of my time outdoors with my family, running in pastures, swimming in the creek, and hiking through forestland. My dad’s passion for nature and love of people had a huge influence on me, which is reflected in my work.
Raw and candid moments are my favorite. I find the moments I catch in between are the best images of all. I prefer to shoot in natural light to capture the authenticity of the moment. I love the creative process of finding the best location for a shoot, whether that is indoors or outdoors, where I like to mix in tangled winter trees, tall summer grass, spring flowers, the fabulous textures of fall, and magical lighting wherever I can find it.
My husband Daniel, my two beautiful daughters, and my grandchildren Gwenevere and Jack, all inspire my work. When I’m not spending time with my family I’m enjoying hiking, barre classes, and disc golfing with my husband.
In addition to photography I am a licensed massage therapist, and have been practicing deep tissue since 1996. My focus is on helping my clients with chronic pain issues, injuries, and maintenance programs for a better quality of life. I am deeply passionate about both my work as a massage therapist and photographer.
I look forward to collaborating with you soon!
